EntryPoint was originally developed by professionals with backrounds in investment finance, information technology, and behavioral finance. Their purpose was to simply manage their own 7 figure investment and retirement accounts. As the project developed the marketing folks at TradeStation saw the tremendous potential of the software as a commercial endeavor. Realizing that the expenses to continue to maintain and further develop the software would be a six figure annual expense, the developers agreed to allow it to be marketed to a select clientele. Presently, there are over 800 users in 76 countries. Our policy/guarantee has always been that if the software did not perform exactly as described we would return a clients money in full. To date, not one client has ever asked for the money back.

As the popularity of the software (quietly) spread (mostly by referral and word of mouth) over (the last 20 years) the developers furthered the software to include additional tools, realizing that similar to their real estate investments and other varied income holdings, EntryPoint was another source of revenue for them that fit nicely into their investment paradigm to further the portfolio. No big secret here (guys like Warren Buffet have done similar things for decades e.g. Berkshire Hathaway and NetJets).

Recently, the market(s) have indeed been giving everyone a run for their money. No one wants to trust the "big ticket" names anymore after the numerous scandals that have abound on Wall St, and who can blame them. Again, the developers saw a niche or marketing and another profit center for the investment portfolio. We have been receiving many inquires to help train our existing End of Day users in the intraday markets so that they could take advantage of the volatile swings we are now experiencing.

As a follow up from last week, I attached the chart for Friday Jul30 thru today Tues Aug03 so you could see how the market followed thru to today. Just follow up from the post I sent last week. You will notice that the intraday cycles and trends continued just as we said they would on the Thursday Jul 29 charting example. As we speak (3:00PM) we are waiting for the afternoon downtrend in the S&P/eMini.

We take a great deal of pride making sure our software and our users are consistently successful. We always want to be sure we go beyond the call of duty making certain our clients have the knowledge and tools to be successful. So if we can help you in any way get on track, please let us know and we will be glad to help you. Our clients are our best source of advertising and reference so we want all of you to do good!
